Jesus said to him "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."

-- John 14:6 (NASB)

We are a small neighborhood church with a big God!

Welcome to the Twin Tiers Christian Church website! We are a non-denominational Christian congregation existing to glorify God, evangelize the lost, mature the saints, and serve all people. We want to be of service to the Corning/Painted Post community and to this entire region. We believe that God has called Twin Tiers Christian Church to be a place where people can come together in a community of faith, lifting up Jesus Christ as Lord, and the Bible as the standard by which we should all live our lives.
Feel free to explore our website and get to know us better!

Each Sunday morning we begin with a complimentary coffee hour with light refreshments at 9:30 and then start our morning worship service at 10:30. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic our coffee hour is suspended until further notice. Our service begins with congregational announcements followed by the taking of prayer requests for communal prayer. After caring for prayer needs we enjoy a contemporary praise and worship session which includes a mix of contemporary, classic, and traditional Christian hymns -- lyrics are displayed on our projection screen. During the music you are free to sing, dance, and praise the Lord as the spirit moves you! Currently we are blessed to host a live worship band, the Bartoo family, leading our worship service during this time of pandemic. Afterward, we have a weekly communion service followed by a Bible based sermon from our pastors David Stalbird and Phyllis Schwartz. On occasion we may have a guest musician or a guest speaker visiting instead; these occasions will be announced on our calendar and events pages. Services are usually finished around 12 noon.
We welcome everyone to join us as we come together in the family of Christ.

We feel Communion is a sacred event; a time for believers to quietly reflect on the redemption we receive through Christ's body and blood. Here at Twin Tiers Christian Church we offer a weekly Communion observance each Sunday which is opened with a brief Communion monologue before partaking of the elements during our morning services. We practice open Communion, which means everyone who accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is welcome to receive the elements regardless of denominational ties. To view our monologue archive please click HERE to go to our YouTube channel.
Due to various medical conditions we offer grape juice instead of wine; you are safe here. If you are a visitor requiring gluten free wafers please contact us 24 hours in advance of the service so that we can accommodate your needs.

During our COVID-19 situation the Communion juice and wafers will be handled by only one person, wearing gloves and a mask, who will distribute the elements to all who wish to partake.

The act of baptism can vary between churches and therefore we should explain our view: The Bible says baptism symbolizes Christ's burial and resurrection (Col. 2:12; 1 Pet. 3:21-22); and that through acceptance of Christ's body and blood -- his death, burial, and resurrection -- we are saved (Mat. 26:26-28 Jn 6:53-58). Due to this need for conscious acceptance of Christ we do not perform infant baptisms. Also, because the Bible word for "baptism" is the Greek word baptizo, which means to immerse or submerge, Twin Tiers Christian Church peforms immersion-only baptisms. We have a baptismal pool located in the alcove behind the chancel. If you have any questions, concerns, or health issues related to immersion feel free to speak to our pastors.

New visitors will notice that there is no passing of collection plates during our services or ministries. Anyone wishing to give offerings, tithes, or gifts may deposit them in the marked collection boxes located on the wall at the back of the sanctuary at any time.
