If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

-- Romans 10:9 (NASB)

Psalm 27

The Godhead: We believe the Godhead exists in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. These three are one in nature, one in purpose, and one in perfection. (Matthew 28:19-20)

The Father: We believe in God, the Father, the omnipotent One who is above all else in the universe. His Holy Name is known by the Hebrew name "Yahweh" ("Jehovah" is the anglicized version of the name).
-- John 20:17, Psalms 115:15

The Son: We believe in the Holy Son of God, sent down from heaven, born of a virgin through the Holy Spirit, who grew to adulthood and gave His life that mankind may be saved from sin and eternal death. After three days in the grave he was resurrected and then He returned to heaven forty days later. His Name is known in Hebrew as "Yeshua Messiah" ("Jesus Christ" is the anglicized version).
-- John 17:1-5, Acts 1:3, 1 Corinthians 15:3-7

The Holy Spirit: We believe in the Holy Spirit, which is given from God as a helper for us to grow in our spiritual walk with Him. We believe the Holy Spirit to be the source of true Godly teaching and a witness bearer to Christ.
-- John 14:26, John 15:26

The Bible: We believe the Bible to be the absolute, authoritative, inspired Word of God written by men through guidance from the Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible to be God's message to humankind so that we may learn His will, His promises, and His purposes.
-- 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Sin: We believe that sin entered mankind through one man, that as a result all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God, and that sin is the cause of all death in mankind.
-- Romans 3:23, Romans 5:12

Salvation: We believe that Salvation (redemption from sin) can only be accomplished through belief in the saving power of Christ's shed blood; there is no other name in which we can be saved.
-- Acts 4:11-12, Romans 3:22-25, Romans 6:23, Ephesians 1:7

Communion: We believe that Jesus Christ commanded us to observe Communion as a holy remembrance of His sacrifice for our Salvation. We believe that the Communion elements, the grape product and the bread, symbolize Christ's blood and body. We believe that Communion should be open to all who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, regardless of denominational ties. We believe that Communion is a sacred event meant for personal reflection on what Jesus Christ did for us.
-- 1 Corinthians 11:23-28

Christ's Return: We believe that, at an appointed time known only by God, Jesus Christ will return to judge the world and separate the unbelievers from His faithful followers to be with Him always.
-- Matthew 24:36, Matthew 25:31-46, John 14:3

Baptism: We believe that baptism symbolizes Christ's burial and resurrection; and that through acceptance of Christ's body and blood -- his death, burial, and resurrection -- we are saved. Due to this need for conscious acceptance of Christ we do not perform infant baptisms. Also, because the Bible word for "baptism" is the Greek word baptizo, which means to immerse or submerge, Twin Tiers Christian Church performs immersion-only baptisms.
-- Colossians 2:12, 1 Peter 3:21-22, Matthew 26:26-28, John 6:53-58 .
